Bournemouth 1919 Peace Medal WW1 Commemorative Gilt Bronze
An original Bournemouth 1919 Peace Medal, issued to commemorate the end of the First World War. Struck in gilt bronze, the obverse features a symbolic scene of two soldiers shaking hands beneath a winged figure of peace, representing unity and reconciliation after the Great War.
The reverse inscription reads:
